Spray Guided Trapezoidal Valve Tray(SGTV)
SGTV was designed on the basis of drawing experience of trays such as strip floating valve, jet tray and slotted sieve tray. SGTV drew the characteristics of v-grid tray, changed the rectangular valve into trapezoidal valve, adjusted the air flow area by floating up and down, and overcame the disadvantage of v-grid tray with small operation elasticity.
Experimental research and practical application show that the performance of SGTV has been greatly improved, which is embodied in:
l It is not easy to be stuck and fall off, it is not easy to be installed in the wrong direction due to the asymmetric structure, and the installation is simple;
l The unique flow driving mechanism makes the liquid level gradient and liquid phase back mixing on the tray reduced;
l Dry plate pressure drop and total plate pressure drop are decreased;
l The lower leakage limit is significantly reduced;
l Quantity of foam entrainment is low;
l The liquid level gradient on the tray is decreased;
l Flexibility and stability of operation are improved;
l Efficiency improves;
l Processing capacity increases.
The following are the comparison curves of F1 floating valve, guided trapezoidal floating valve and inclined hole trapezoidal floating valve in dry plate pressure drop, wet plate pressure drop, liquid leakage, entrainment rate and mass transfer efficiency. As can be seen from the figures, the guided trapezoidal valve has a large comprehensive advantage.
