Watching the opening ceremony of the 11th Party Congress in Tianjin and the outstanding Party member election in 2017

The 11th Tianjin Congress of the Communist Party of China was grandly opened in the Tianjin Auditorium on the morning of May 22, 2017. The Party branch organized all serving Party members to watch the opening ceremony. On behalf of the Tenth Committee of the Communist Party of China in Tianjin, Comrade Hongzhong Li made a report entitled "Holding the Banner, Maintaining the Core and Loyalty, Innovating and Competing, Striving to Build a High-Quality, Well-off Society, and Building a Socialist Modern Metropolis". Hongzhong Li said that the eleventh Congress of the Communist Party of China in Tianjin was a crucial period in which the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping lead us to a decisive battle to build a well-off society in an all-round way and march toward a new journey towards socialist modernization. During the historic window period, this important meeting is held. The theme of the conference is: unite more closely around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Jinping Xi at the core, hold high the banner, maintain the core, be loyal and responsible, innovate and compete, in order to accelerate the construction of "one base and three districts" and build a high-quality well-off society in an all-round way, strive to build a socialist modern metropolis. At 9:00 am, comrade Dongfeng Wang announced the opening of the conference and all the people stood up to sing "The National Anthem of the People's Republic of China". Hongzhong Li gave a report to the conference in warm applause. The report was divided into eight parts: 1. Five years of progress and forging ahead; 2. With General Secretary Xi Jinping's new concept of governance, new ideas and new strategies as the guidelines, strive to create a new journey of socialist modern metropolis construction; 3. Focus on improving the quality and efficiency of development, and accelerate the construction of a modern Tianjin with innovative development; 4. Unswervingly promote a new round of reform and opening up, accelerate the construction of an open and inclusive modern Tianjin; 5. Promote green development, and accelerate the construction of an ecologically livable modernize Tianjin; 6. Develop socialist democracy, maintain fairness and justice, and accelerate the construction of a democratic and modern legal Tianjin; 7. Adhere to the people-centered development idea, focus on ensuring and improving people's livelihood, and accelerate the construction of a civilized and happy modern Tianjin; 8. Focus on strengthening and improvement of the Party's leadership, promote comprehensive and strict governance of the Party to develop in depth, and continuously improve the scientific level of Party building. After the opening ceremony, Comrade Zhe Wang chaired the participating Party members to conduct a special study on "Party building studies", and then discussed in depth the report of Comrade Hongzhong Li. The next five years will be a period of great milestone in the history of the development of our country and nation. It is also an important historical window period for the development of Tianjin. It is a crucial period for the transition from fully building a high-quality well-off society to accelerating the construction of a modern socialist metropolis. After a heated discussion, the Party branch carried out the "2016-2017 Excellent Party Members" election, and voted on 12 candidates, and finally two comrades Ningning Song and Ye Ma were elected as the "2016-2017 Excellent Party Members" of the Party branch.
