The 5th Global Chinese Chemical Scholars Symposium
The representatives of the Distillation Center were invited to participate in the Frontier in Chemical Engineering-the 5th Global Chinese Chemical Engineerings Symposium
On July 22-25, 2013, representatives of our center, Professor Xingang Li, Associate Professor Hong Sui, Associate Researcher Hong Li, and post doctor Xin Gao were invited to attend the 5th Global Chinese Chemical Engineering Symposium held in the ancient city of Xi'an. The theme of the conference is "Frontier in Chemical Engineering". On the morning of the 25th, Associate Researcher Hong Li gave a report titled "Application of SiC Porous Foam in the Intensification of Distillation Process". Associate Professor Hong Sui gave a report titled "Green Technology for Efficient Extraction of Oil Sand Asphalt" and introduced the research progress of new materials and new technologies in the distillation process of the Distillation Center and the latest research results in the field of oil sand treatment, which aroused the attention of the participants.
This symposium grasps the current development of disciplines in the field of chemical engineering and technology, and it aims at a series of issues such as international talent training strategies, integrated development models of production, teaching and research, multidisciplinary intersection and integration, scientific and technological collaborative innovation and energy, and sustainable development of the environment, which were discussed extensively and in-depth.
The Global Chinese Chemical Engineerings Symposium aims to jointly discuss the Chinese chemical engineering education and scientific research frontier problem, spread chemical knowledge and technology, promote international exchanges and cooperation, promote the academic prosperity and collaborative innovation of chemical engineering, and improve the global influence of the Chinese chemical industry scholars, boost the global Chinese breakthroughs and achievements in the field of chemical industry. The previous four conferences were successfully held in Canada, Australia, Beijing and the United Kingdom. This conference is hosted by Northwest University.
